Our name says it all. Since inception, we have been proud to provide our clients with objective advice in support of their financial freedom. Our unique approach is highly personalized to each client, recognizing that meaningful financial counsel cannot be automated or generated from a template. Our goal is to build a lasting alliance with our clients in all stages of life by optimizing available resources to accomplish important financial goals.
The term “nest egg” comes from the practice of leaving a fake egg in a nest to encourage hens to lay. Many believe by focusing on investments alone, “the fake egg,” we can achieve financial security. We are grounded in the philosophy that an investment portfolio cannot be successful without an integrated financial plan, and for that reason we do not segment our services.
Our foundational approach considers all relevant pieces of your financial story to create a nest egg that can support you today and allow you to thrive far into the future.
We have always drawn inspiration from the birds’ nest, first collected on our Virginia farm. Why? A bird will shape a nest unique to its family’s needs, using whatever is available from its environment. We’ve discovered them fashioned from our horse’s hair, twigs, grass and hay. Here in the Lowcountry, Spanish moss and pine straw are favored materials. We take a similar approach to financial planning, respecting each client’s individual needs and resources.
Whether you are a business owner or newly employed, first-time saver or the recipient of an inheritance, working toward or considering retirement, we can help you create a strong nest egg.
